How It Works

Automatic Archiving Process

When a shipment's status changes to DELIVERED, a 30-day countdown begins. After 30 days, the shipment is automatically moved to the Archive folder.

The shipment stops receiving updates and its status becomes static. The archived shipment remains accessible for consultation at any time.

Key Characteristics

Archived Shipments:

✅Are fully viewable with complete historical data

✅No longer receive tracking updates or status changes

❌Cannot be unarchived or restored to active status

Accessing Archived Shipments

Viewing Your Archive

Navigate to your Safecube shipments dashboard, locate and click on the "Archive" tab.

Browse or search for the shipment you need. Click on any shipment to view its complete data and history.

Key shipment data such as departure and arrival dates remain fully accessible in the archive.

Use Cases

When Archive Access is Useful

• Audit and compliance: Review historical shipment data for reporting purposes
• Customer inquiries: Reference past deliveries when responding to customer questions
• Performance analysis: Analyze delivery patterns and performance over time
• Dispute resolution: Access complete shipment history for claims or disputes

Important Considerations

Making Updates to Archived Shipments

Archived shipments cannot be modified or unarchived. If you need to update information or continue tracking: Create a new shipment with the updated information.

Best Practices Review shipments before archiving: Check important shipments approaching the 30-day threshold if you anticipate needing updates
