User guide
Short user guide for the Safecube app in Salesforce.
Note
The app must be installed and configured first.
Open the app
When installed, the app can be openned by searching Safecube on the App launcher.

Manage shipments
Start tracking shipments
- To start tracking a shipment, select New

In the dialog box, enter:
- Shipment Number mandatory
The container number, Master BL number or Booking Number - Sealine recommended
Sealine SCAC code identifier (4 letters). This will be used to know from wich sealine the shipment must be tracked. If not present, we will try autodetecting the sealine. Note that we might fail 30% of the time.
- Select Save if you wanted to create one shipment only, or Save and New if you want to add another.
Data recovery
The data might take some time to appear, up to a few minutes. You will need to reload the page to view the data.
Stop tracking shipments
Once you wish to stop tracking a shipment, you can select it in the list and delete it.

You can also Delete it from the shipment view.

View Data
Shipment list

The Shipment List provides a simplified overview of all your tracked shipments. It displays key information, including:
- Shipment Number: The identifier you are tracking (e.g., Container Number, Bill of Lading, or Booking Number).
- Shipment Type: Indicates the type of shipment:
CT
– ContainerBL
– Bill of LadingBK
– Booking
- Shipping Status: Current status of the shipment. Possible values are:
PLANNED
IN_TRANSIT
DELIVERED
UNKNOWN
- Sealine: Name of the shipping line.
- Last Modified Date: The most recent date the shipment data was updated from the shipping line.
You can use this view to:
- Add new shipments
- Remove existing shipments
- Search for specific shipments by number or type
Shipment details

The Shipment Details View appears when you select a specific shipment from the list. It provides in-depth tracking information for that shipment.
Top Section
The top section displays key tracking information, identical to what is shown in the Shipment List:
- Shipment Number
- Shipment Type
- Shipping Status
- Sealine
- Last Modified Date
Left Panel: Container Events
This panel lists all shipment events in reverse chronological order (most recent first). For each event, the following details are shown:
- Location: Where the event took place
- Description: A brief summary of the event
- Event Date: When the event occurred
- Is Actual: Indicates whether the event has been confirmed by the shipping line
You can sort the events by any column.
Note: By default, only the 10 most recent events are displayed. Click "View All" at the bottom to see the full event history.
Right Panel: Shipment Location
This section displays the current location of the shipment on a map.
You can zoom in and out to better view the location—especially useful when your shipment is at sea.
