Working with Groups
Creating and Managing Groups
You can assign shipments to a Group. A group can be comprised of users or be empty.
If you assign shipments to a Group of specific users, each user will be able to access this list of shipments in a "read-only" capacity.
If you assign shipments to a Group that is empty, all workspace users will be able to view, edit and delete these shipments.
🔧 How to Create a Group
- Open Settings.
- Go to the Groups section.
- Follow the prompts to create and manage your shipment groups.

Users must be created with the "restricted viewer" role before being added to a group.
Once the Group is created, you can use it as a filter for your Shipments view.

📦 Example Use Cases
You can group shipments by:
- Customer
- Business Unit
- Product Type
- Freight Forwarder
A single shipment can belong to several groups, so you can effectively use groups as labels to tag and categorize shipments flexibly.
🚀 Benefits
- Enhanced Monitoring: Easily filter your shipment list by group to gain insights at a glance.
- Better Organization: Keep related shipments together for quick access.
- Custom Views: Tailor your monitoring experience to fit your operational needs.
By using shipment groups, you make shipment tracking smarter and more adaptable to your workflow.
